The Sizzlin' Summer CLE took place on Friday, August 15, 2014 at a new venue this year—the Hyatt French Quarter. 

There were a total of 7 CLE credits available. Each hour was was given by a different, yet accomplished speaker.

These were the speakers and presentations available for CLE credit: John Trimble's (Lewis Wagner in Indianapolis) presentation "How to Make Your Practice Sizzle with Success: Understanding and Improving Your Law Firm's Metrics"; Michael Maslanka's (Constangy, Brooks & Smith in Dallas) presentation "The Complete Professional: Effective Interaction with Courts, Clients, Counsel, and Colleagues"; Kim Boyle (Phelps Dunbar in New Orleans) speaking on developments in employment law; Bob Barton and Professor Gabe Feldman presented "The Wild World of Sports (Law)"; Christine Lipsey and Professor Dane Ciolino presented "Ethics - Traps for the Unwary: Waiving the Attorney-Client Privilege by Placing Legal Advice at Issue"; and finally "Recent Developments in Louisiana Law" presented by Professor John Church are the LADC's Executive Director Bill Corbett.

As for pricing, the LADC negotiated group room rates ($129 for a pool or courtyard king room), and the registration fee for this seminar was $350.00.
